Ninole · Hāmākua Coast · Hawai'i Island
A four-bedroom ranch house on a hundred private acres in Ninole. Power comes from the property. So does the quiet.
The land is the listing. A hundred acres of pasture and gulch on the Hāmākua Coast, with a waterfall and swimming pool of its own, a house at the center of it, and no neighbor within sight or sound. Ten people fit comfortably across four bedrooms.
The house runs off-grid on a generator, which is the honest trade for the isolation. Everything works, including the full kitchen, the hot water and the Wi-Fi, and the generator is the reason it does. It is not silent. Guests who want a hotel should book a hotel.
Access is a graded ranch road. A four-wheel-drive vehicle is required, not suggested. Check-in is never same-day here, because getting the house ready this far out takes the full turnover window.
